Virtually no violent crime

Have you ever been in a place where you don't need to worry about who is walking behind you, where you may leave your house and car unlocked without worrying about them, where everyone says hello and means it? That's Juneau. Certainly we have crime including, for the most part, drug abuse and domestic violence but it's pretty difficult to get away with most criminal behavior because, for example, a stolen car can only get out of Juneau via ferry! This is the most peaceful and stress-free place I've ever lived.
