Moved to Knoxville 14 years ago- love living here

We moved from CT 14 years ago and love living in the Knoxville area. We raised our 4 kids here. The low cost of living and great climate are hard to beat.
We now live 20 miles outside the city in Tellico Village, where you can still afford waterfront living. We never found ourselves as outsider- as Yankees. Most people in the Farragut area especially are not from Tennessee. Oak Ridge demands a highly educated workforce. There are great medical services, though we did choose to send our kids to private school, we found very few negatives.
