Set the record straight

I grew up just about 30 miles north of here in Tehachapi (which is beautiful but boring). I have lived in Lancaster for about 5 years now, and cannot wait to leave. The weather is awful, it is freezing in the winter and scorching in the summer. The wind never stops. I have no allergies, but the dust makes my eyes burn and feel dried out all day. In the summer the wind makes it hotter, not cooler as you might think- Its like a blast furnace! There is not much for work, I am one of the lucky few who does not have to commute, I make pretty good money (aprox 80k), and it is still too expensive here. The only ones that thrive are those paid my the government on welfare, in section 8, unemployment, etc. The crime here is crazy! I live in one of the better neighborhoods, and I still see far too much. The problem is that the bad people only have to drive 2 minutes and then they are in your neighborhood. You shop at the same stores as the people you want to avoid. I URGE anyone, especially those with families to do your research before moving here. This area (Palmdale included) has the highest concentration of sex offenders per capita than anywhere in CA, and probably the US. Check the Megans law website. This area, especially the east side (only 2 mins from the westside) is the Methamphetamine capital of the WORLD- more is produced here than ANYWHWERE!!! Drive to the east side and smell the smell like rotting eggs. The city officials are the biggest bunch of retards ever elected to govern a single area. They cannot get anything done! They try to fix roads (which are terrible), and then just as they tear them up, decide it is not in the budget and put a hold on them. Then they stay torn up for months with detours and road cones. The schools are terrible, my wife grew up here and went to school here. There are very few good teachers, the good ones get sick of the kids whose parents refuse to raise them to be good citizens. I know a few teachers who have held parent teacher conferences and only gotten ridiculed from the parents about why they are pushing the students hard... No wonder the good teachers skip town. This place is indeed the worst, I am taking my family and moving elsewhere. I am tired of the ignorance of the people here, tired of the dirt, tired of the crime, the wind , the heat, the cost of living (because I pay my own bills- not the government). Tired of it all. If you are a low life I would ask you to come here and stay so
