Smallish town life with everything you need

I've lived in Lapeer for 17 years now and it is a great place to raise a family. It's got everything you need on a regular basis, shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. You really don't even have to leave other than maybe for work or a night on the town. The schools are solid and the crime is low. If you can handle the odd Michigan weather then it's a wonderful place to live.
