Never enough

Overpriced place to try and build your life as a young person. While living close to NYC certainly has it's advantages (nightlife & job opps) you can never get ahead. Even with the housing market the way it is, it is nearly impossible to afford a house or the taxes without playing smoke & mirrors with your money. And even if you do pull it off you are living in a rundown shack. This is not a place to try and build a life for you and a family unless you want to work and commute around the clock. You can rent someone's basement out for 1300 a month. Unless you are young/ single/ don't mind being broke the perks will ware off real quick. I am looking for some place to relocate...preferably warmer and more affordable.
