My husband and are in the area looking at relocation possibilities. We drove through Lincoln County to Lincolnton and it was very depressing. Run down homes, animals penned, very depressing. We had been considering a 55 plus community in the area, but have decided against it. True there is a lot of traffic west of Lake Norman, but accessibility to so much more.
