Review of Lincoln, Nebraska

Living in Lincoln
Star Rating - 12/1/2005
It was TOUGH to adjust to living here. Culture shock, other comments posted are true. The only thing, it was a great place to raise my sons. They literally could take their fishing poles and go, safety was not an issue. Now, in middle age the deep freeze of winter Hurts, and the heat and bugs of the summer are very uncomfortable. Nebraska has the highest percentage of dual income households in the nation, as wages are not the best and women are forced to work vs staying home to raise children if that were their preferance. If you look, there are little gems in Nebraska. Must be adventerous to find them.
