Review of Lincoln, Nebraska

Cigarette Smoke & Loud Engines
Star Rating - 12/1/2009
Two things struck me when I moved to Lincoln, NE in June of 2007. First was the amount of cigarette smoke outdoors relative to Cincinnati, OH where I had previously lived. The second was the volume of motorcycle, automobile, and lawn-mower engines that invaded the city. The latter seemed due to folks not realizing there might be other folks for whom the noise is undesirable, or possibly in spite of the fact that other folks might not care for the noise volume.

The longer I've lived in the city, the more comfortable I've become. Never-the-less, the noise and smoke pollution levels are still counter to my preference.
