Review of Little Rock, Arkansas

for those interested in moving to the LR area.....
Star Rating - 10/24/2006
Little Rock is not known for its factories or other blue-collar employments. There is much commerical and touristic growth in the area. It is similar to Tulsa, Oklahoma on a slightly smaller scale. It has some fun recreation areas such as Pinnacle Mountain State Park, the Arkansas River, the Farmer's Market in downtown, and locally is Wild River Country, a medium-sized water park, and Magic Springs, an amusement park in the suburb of Hot Springs. There is a large local population of retirees in the Hot Springs area, which is the largest retirement community in the nation. So come to LR if you would like to experience a large city experience on a medium-sized city scale.
