The city of Little Rock has about 185,000, while the metro exceeds 750,000.
You can live in North Little Rock, West Little Rock, Sherwood, Maumelle, Jacksonville, Conway, Benton, Bryant, for a short commute to Little Rock, or some live in Hot Springs, a tourist village about 45 minutes away for a longer commute. There is a lot to do in Little Rock, in terms of shopping and entertainment anyway. The landscape surrounding the city is interesting, too.
Though some may say it has a violent history of segregation and racial issues, Little Rock is just like any other medium-sized American city and has its many parts.
