What a great city for settling down!

We just moved to Livonia from Oak Park and it is night and day! We were getting tired of the hustle and bustle as we were a just a mile from Ferndale and Royal Oak before. We've settled in Livonia. It's quiet, family oriented, friendly and for a larger city has a bit of a small town feel. I really love it. The only criticism that I would give to Livonia is that there really isn't much culture and the restaurants are nowhere near as good as they were in Royal Oak and Ferndale. But if you like quiet and family...this is the place to be.
