Just cancelled my trip to Lompoc, so sad to read about a good city I visited 30 years ago, deteriated to the point people don't feel safe to visit, don't want anything bad happen on their vacation. I feel the pain people lived here before, seems to me it's not Mexicans, but the inept police to allow the city to slip to this low. Look at San Diego, it's the flood gate of the Mexicans, but it's 7th safest city of over 500,000 population. So apparentely new comers are not the problem, it's the law enforcement and the city itself.
