not affordable, in my opinion

I've lived in Louisville, Colo. for 11 years [and in the Front Range area, off & on, for more than 33 yrs.]. In my opinion, Louisville is scarcely affordable for individuals [or families] of moderate incomes [e.g., less than $45,000 per year].
Housing prices in Boulder County [we're only 8 miles from Boulder] are so high that a single person can't afford to buy even a condominium, unless you move here with a sizable nest-egg. I'd agree that otherwise the quality of life here is quite pleasant, but affordable housing is a significant issue in this area.
