Just the other day I was talking to a lady at Starbucks. Last year around this time their were many more people. Traffic was heavier, restaurants fuller.. etc
Sunny Isles Beach is one of the nices beaches in North Miami. But economy has made a significant impact. Now you can look at it two ways I suppose. I my self like it! Rents and mortgages are cheaper. Take the apartment I live in for instance. www.IntracoastalYachtclub.com just check the place out. It's likely that you will find a great deal here. What was once a place you could only move into after being on a waiting list is only at 80% occupancy! The old days of having to put down a few thousand for a deposit are gone. $199 deposit says the page! Its a steal.. This goes for many of the businesses around here. Foods cheaper, rents cheaper, deposits are cheaper.... But the beach is just as lovely as always! I hope it stays like this forever!
