I moved here after living on the east coast (northern,NJ) and the west coast (southern, CA)and I absolutely HATE IT! If you aren't from Texas, don't even think of moving here, they won't accept you. It's terribly hard trying to get employment when you are from somewhere other than Texas, and the people will call you in for an interview "just to see why you moved here." (That's a direct quote from one of the interviewers.) The children in the school systems seem to run the school and the teachers get very little backing from the parents when handling disciplinariary actions. I have met many other people from other places and they feel the same way! All I have to say about Midland is STAY AWAY!!!! SAVE YOURSELF!!!
