Midwestern, blue collar attitudes prevail here in Milwaukee. Hard to break in and get to know people if you are not from here. Milwaukee people definitely work hard and enjoy beer and cheese. The city has a lot of potential with many cultural opportunities. . . just think the city would benefit from a more welcoming attitude towards newcomers---it lacks energy and enthusiasm as a whole.
