Thumbs Up

I just read the previous opinion on the city of Mission Viejo. I lived in Ladera Ranch for 6 years, which is the city next to Mission Viejo, and didn't see what the previous writer had seen. I saw people who ARE friendly and had wonderful down to earth friends who were, and still are, like family. Rudeness...I have no clue on that, I think there are rude people where ever you go, no place is that perfect. It is though, a very beautiful place with nice people and many things for families to do. There is a lot of money there true, it is Orange County, but with that also comes some highly educated individuals, which living where we live now, you don't see too often(no offense meant). We had to move from there because my husbands company transfered us to Nashville TN. Now here there are some rude, judgemental people and an outsider seems to stand out. It is a town still run by the old money that lives here. Want to talk bad traffic and bad drivers, well this is the place; it is a free for all. The traffic in CA may be chaotic but at least it is organized chaos. We have been here 5 months and we too have a sign in front of our house. For us, we will be moving back to the Mission Viejo area. At least in California there are always things for you or your family to do. We are originally from MI and have lived in this area of Nashville before. With the company moving we had to give Nashville another try, but it just doesn't come close to the way we want to live our lives. With next to perfect weather and the opportunities that CA offers, there is no contest on where our roots would rather be planted.
