I was reading about the crime rate in Missouri City Missouri 64072, and that does sound high on the average. Missouri City's population approx. 350 people. It is an old and historical river town. Just east of Kansas City Mo. right along the Missouri River, sits Missouri City. Used to be alot of river boats, and trading going on, back in the day. Missouri City also had a coal mine, which is closed now. They also grew hemp. back in the day too. The job title for working the hemp. fields, was Hemp Whackers. It was a large business then. There was a Hemp Factory across the Missouri River, from Missouri City. The Hemp would be shipped across the river, to the Hemp factory. Missouri City was a busy, and cute little town then. Since the floodings there, the town has declined in population, and improvements. But it was quite the town in it's day.
