I have been in the Myrtle Beach area for the last 10 years. I love living at the beach and find the area very pleasent. Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas have grown tremendously in the last 10 years and only continues to improve. I went through the public school system here and will enter the nursing profession in May with a BSN. Motivated students do well here and receive the education they need and deserve. The Real Estate and construction businesses are booming in the Myrtle Beach area. Compared to other states, the cost of living is lower in the Myrtle Beach area. The difference in cost of living usually compensates for lower salaries. Overall, the Myrtle Beach area has a lot to offer. The resturants are out of this world and in 10 years I still have not been to them all. The transient nature of the area offers interaction with a diverse range of people. I urge relocators to take time to research the area.
