still unsure

We have been in Madison-North Nashville for several months, and still unsure-yet hopeful of what this city has to offer. There is great diversity here in Nashville. However it is hard to penetrate into any group. The friends we do have are transplants to this city.Traffic can be hectic but it is managable. The city prides itself on cleanliness. I enjoy the scenery all around the city.
Crime in our part of the city is a bit more than I would want. Most of the crimes are done by young males. But it is obvious the Education is not a priority here in this city. Yet, the city is trying to instill more into education. I feel even if the schools are improve; those who choose not to comply will still infiltrate into all areas and corrupt others. Overall, We dont feel as if we are in danger, but we looked on tennessean.com and saw the general area of crime in the city along major roadways. I noticed few home invasions, or shootings. Yet the city has great amounts of robberies- All over the city. This should also be noted that in our neighborhood the only people getting robbed are Mexicans and elderly. Overall, We still are unsure about if this is the place we would want to call home. But we are taking things day by day, but we are hopeful.
