More than Country Music

Nashville is a very diverse city. People who have never been here probably think it's all about country music, but it's very diverse. Numerous colleges, museums, state of the art sports facilities, many parks, and a lively downtown scene. The biggest drawback is traffic. Whoever designed the U.S. interstate system in the 50's apparently never expected converging three major interstate in downtown Nashville would be an issue. The lack of a "ring freeway" makes it virtually impossible to cross town on a freeway without hitting the downtown loop. Otherwise, it's a great city to live.
