Once a small strictly-local locale, the Nebo, NC area is undergoing change. Vacation properties/communities on and around Lake James (1 mile from Nebo) are springing up and vastly increasing property values in the area. The quaint appeal of a very small southern community married to the charm and draw of Lake James, Liville Gorge and Falls (~20 miles north), and North Carolina's High Country make Nebo a place to watch. Better yet, a place in which to invest.
