Just a big ole toilet bowl

What a dump to live in. It was bad in New Orleans before Katrina, but living there is much worse now. Although, Katrina did get rid of some of the run down housing that was there before. Spike Lee gets on TV talking about the poor Lower 9th Ward getting wiped out. That was one of the best things that could have happened to the city. I feel sorry for the people who really had no way of getting out of the city before the storm, but there were so many that just sat in their house with their Cadillacs, SUVs, etc., parked outside of their run down homes and then cried that nobody helped them when the water came up. Shows the stupid mentality of most of the people in New Orleans. They whine that nobody is rebuilding the city fast enough, while they sit in hotels paid for by FEMA, drinking and spending their FEMA money on designer clothes and strip clubs. Crime is going up in the city cause most of the criminals went to Tx and found out that in Tx, the judges actually put people in jail for a long time. So, now they are coming back to New Orleans, where we have a DA, Eddie Jordan, that couldn't convict a convicted felon with an AK47, that was caught on tape, true story. His office dropped the charges on the guy, who was firing an AK47, shooting someone, that was caught on tape at a carwash. Instead, Jordan prosecutes cops who shot back at people who were shooting at them and other people, after the storm. Instead of putting hardened criminals in jail, Jordan thinks it is better to put cops in jail. He also is prosecuting some doctors and nurses who attempted to keep people alive in hospitals after the storm. The hospitals were cut off from any help cause the city, which is surrounded by water, had no rescue boats to get out there and save people. Now people wonder why the city of New Orleans is such a hell hole to live in.
