Cool off in Newland, NC in the summer

We’ve owned a mountain property in Newland, NC for around 4 years now. We bought in the same resort community that our parents bought a second home in only a couple months earlier. Last week my husband’s sister and her family bought a second home here too. It’s just a great community that you simply want to part of once you discover it — especially as a cool place in the mountains in the summer time.
