Review of Norwalk, Connecticut

Best of both worlds
Star Rating - 10/6/2007
You get the best of both worlds: Relatively close to NYC yet close to rural areas. Near the big city without the congestion (except on I95). Nearby there are beaches, woods, cities, small towns. I prefer it to Stamford - less congested, nicer houses, less polluted. Income & property taxes are somewhat lower than NYC. Property taxes are higher but house prices are lower.
