Great cost of living!

The military sent me here in 1981, retired in 87' and started another career with the FAA. Will retire again and for good in 2008 and would really like to live somewhere else primarily to see some trees! It's just too barren here for my tastes. I will say this though, housing is very affordable and the people are very friendly. Also looking at this website, i can't seem to find a more affordable place to live than right here! I just may end up staying.....
