Review of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Some economic news for Okies!!
Star Rating - 1/27/2007
The cost of living is about 40% less then the Los Angeles area (sorry, no beaches here but quite a few lakes!!). The Oklahoma City area is experiencing a housing appreciation of almost 5% per year. Tulsa is slightly less. Dell Computers has built a three-phase campus for an inbound call center. Many reps start at around $16.00 per hr. Housing is still very affordable here. New houses
1800-2500 sq ft start in the $120,000 to $160,000 range. Gas prices are among the lowest in the country. As of this writing(Jan./'07) unleaded is $1.76-1.89 a gal.
