Old Orchard beach summer population

The population may be in a decline but that is only because the homes being purchased are bought as second homes for families who enjoy spending their summers there. In the summer 100,000 people are living there.
Because of its proximity to Portland Wells and Ogunquit Old Orchard beach is seen as a value witha 7 mile sandy beach, not the typical rocky beaches found on the Maine Coast.
