East Orlando

I live just about as far away from Disney as you can get in Orlando. East Orlando is a very nice area with a low crime rate and reasonable cost of living (although, cost of living has risen considerably in the past 5 or 6 years). There are many nice golf courses in the area, but few public parks. The existing public parks are usually full all day Saturday with local children and adult sports, family and organization picnics, and other activites.
