What areas should I look into relocating too????

I've read the post but I tend to believe that I would still be happier in the sunshine state than in MA. I live in Lynn a city north of boston which actually has a higher crime index than Orlando. The housing prices here are out of control. I live in the cheapest area north of boston and to buy a decent starter house you need $400,000. I pay $1,100 for rent for a small 4 room over 30yr old apt. Most houses and apts here are old, ugly, loaded with lead paint and just plain falling apart at the seams. I don't have a yard or any grass for that matter. Plus the damn snow!!! Oh and part of the reason is that we are disney dorks and coaster freaks!!! Nothing to do here most of the year unless you have $200-$300 for a night in Boston or do skiing which sucks!!! HELP. I need to move. Can pay around $1,000 a month.
