Orlando, crime taking all the fun out of the City

Orlando has one of the highest crime rates in the country, and getting worst.
Yes, the warm climate invites the good and the bad. Violent crime, rape, robberies, and the lattest "home invasions" are destroying this city. The police can't keep up. We moved away, and it is refreshing to not have crime as the main focus on the nightly news. Do your research, if quality of schools & crime are an important factors to you. Realtors "can't" discuss crime areas or high crime nighboorhoods, it is against the law for them to steer you away, so talk to alot of people, and get the information from local sources, police Dept. etc. There are better areas, well worth the drive to live in the safer areas.
