Low income "complainers" need not apply.

I'm reading some of the negative and untrue comments on this blog site about Orlando and wanted to clarify some of them for the sake of reality... As far as not being able to get a good meal at a restaurant here because there are no good restaurants in town; Orlando has more trendy restaurants then any city I have ever been in. If you can only afford to eat at Denny's, your going to get a Denny's meal, ..ya know what I mean! Everyone I have spoken to here all agree that Orlando has the best restaurants compared to anywhere else they have been. And about Orlando having no "good" public schools here for your children; humm, lets see; Lake Mary, Oviedo, Bear Lake, Maitland, Clermont, Windermere, Winter Park, Edgewater... and the list goes on and on. The truth is, most areas in and around Orlando have "A rated" public schools. However, if you move to a "low income" area, (of which there are fewer and fewer due to the new development and re-development boom here), then most likely, yes, you will get a poorer rated school and have crime in your area. Reading this blog site is like reading the "Tale of Two Cities", it's the "Have", and the "Have Not", like anywhere is actually. Please don't come here and think that your life of bad neighborhoods, poor schools and no job prospects is going to change because you've moved to a place where the sun shines all the time and it's 75F degrees in January. Truth be told, Orlando is the nicest place that some people will never be able to afford to live in. Honestly, if you can afford to move someplace exciting, trendy, and "growing in a very positive direction", and if you move to one of the hundreds of great neighborhoods here in and around Orlando with top rated A schools,(because your looking for the same great quality of life you had where ever it was you are coming from, but with warm year round temps and ever lasting sunshine), then you will find the best place you've ever lived here in Orlando,(as we did!). If not, then yes, you will not find that "magical pie in the sky life" here, so yes, please don't come here. Welcome to gentrification! ..and thank God for it! ..there's always New Orleans or El Paso, TX or Jacksonville for people like you. Please leave Orlando to those of us who have earned the right to be here and can afford to live that "dream life in the sunshine" that we've earned. ...and yes, Dr. Phillips is a great area to live in. I love living here, I have a great job that pays more then
