Review of Orlando, Florida

Too Expensive - Stuck Renting
Star Rating - 10/25/2006
I am 29 and have lived in Central FL my entire life. I am very surprised at the appreciation of homes in this area. Great for those who bought a home in Orlando 8-10 years ago, but terrible for those seeking to purchase a first time home now. It's pretty sad that an average price for a new 2 bedroom condo is around $230,000+. If you're looking to relocate to Orlando and plan to purchase a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house expect to shell out $300,000 AND UP for a decent house in a decent community. It's to the point that I'm seriusly considering moving so that I can afford home ownership.
