If you're considering a move to Orlando please make an informed decision. Orange County, FL racked up 64 homicides in 2006 - 49 of those being in the city of Orlando (the remainder occurring in the unincorporated areas). Oh, and I probably should add that in the first 3 days of 2007 we've already had 3 more murders here....off to another great start. Why people keep moving to this overpriced, crime ridden, hellishly hot place is beyond me. I'm happy to be moving out of here this month.
