I recommend Madison,WI. No place is perfect, but I enjoy Madison, a lot better than Orlando. If you still want a very big city experience from time to time, Chicago is only 2.5 hrs away. Chicago is even a better choice than Orlando, and its 3 times the size of Orlando!
