Local drug dealers on the street

My roommate and I recently moved into a local Pasadena/border Altadena neighborhood patroled by the Altadena Sheriff's Dept. While all interaction we've had w/ the Altadena Sheriff's Dept and the Pasadena Police Dept has been extremely positive--our problem still exists.
We have a great neighborhood and a nice street, but some local gang members/drug dealers have decided that directly across the street from our house is the best place to deal. We would like them to disappear. The entire experience of moving to a nice quiet street is ruined when you drive home every night to thugs hanging outside your door. It's just unfortunate.
