Review of Payson, Arizona

Payson water update report...
Star Rating - 6/17/2009
Payson is on track to receive water from the Blue Ridge reservoir within the next 8 or 10 years. It'll provide 3,000 acre feet annually, enough to support a lot more people than most folks in Payson would like to see. Current well production is more than sufficient to carry the present and projected population until water from Blue Ridge arrives.

Payson is a hiker's paradise with well over 100 different hiking trail within 30-50 miles, ranging from summer hikes on the Mogollon Rim (edge of the Colorado plateau at 7,000 - 7,500 ft elevation) to winter hikes in the Valley (2,500 ft elevation).
