Review of Pittsboro, North Carolina

pocket of liberals in a red state
Star Rating - 12/26/2007
I live in Chatham County, just outside of Chapel Hill. It is an area with a definite liberal slant politically. It has the flavor of Chapel Hill/Carrboro as more people are moving this way to get more house for the money than you can "in town."
The drawbacks are the long commute & the wildlife, as in copperhead snakes & ticks galore. Wish I knew that previously. Goes along with the climate, which is also a drawback, in my opinion.
