Pleasanton is a wonderful place. It is in a valley, surrounded by lush ranges. The weather is great; although, not as warm as So Cal. You can't really swim in these oceans. There is very low crime rate and the schools are excellent. The culture here is very appealing. The location is central: close to freeways and neighboring cities. Close to cities over the grades, to the west and south. The down side is that it is very expensive to live here.
