I was station at USCG LORSTA Port Clarence for one year in 1996-97. It is not bad for one year. Every once in a while we would get visitor from Teller, stopping by to sell their wares or just getting out of the weather. The Coast Guard base is the only population at Port Clarence, Ak. The one of the jobs that are not Goverment is the barber.
