I have way too many things to say about Pee-Town.

The simplest:

Don't believe a word anyone says. It rains here ALL THE TIME. When it isn't raining, we've got 80-90% cloud cover, 288 days a year.

Talk about a shady place! <3

Jay, I'm on track with you as my visits to PDX have been positive. One thing I've come away with in reading these comments is the kinds of people described in these exist everywhere. I'm from the south, but live in CA and am forced to move because of retirement and the cost of living here is awful.

Absolutely agree. One thing about P. ortland, there are a lot of delusional idiots here. It rains her ALL the time. And when the sun does come out for more than two hours at a time, the locals just have to remind you: "See, it's not so bad." Well, it is. I've been here ten years, and it seems to get worse. Don't believe anyone that tells you otherwise. This is an absolutely miserable place to live. I've finally convinced my wife, who grew up here, to move somewhere where you can actually live like a normal human being. Portland is a special damp and clammy kind of hell.

You are so full of it because I just went to Oregon recently and I was near Portland and its not a pee-town at all. Yes sometimes its was a rainy in a few places but its wasn't widespread and its wasn't all day sometimes the sun will come out. Yes its was mostly cloudy sometimes when I was visiting in feb of 2012 overall I didn't think the weather was that bad at all and its was a little chilly , but not very windy at all so I felt pretty comforable with the weather in Oregon during my vacation there in Feb. Its makes me wonder if you are a type of person who is trying to keep people from visiting and moving to Oregon. Because I really like the state of Oregon a lot and its may not be perfect but its sure is a lot better than most state in this country.
