Amazing Growth but less Nature

Prescott Valley 20 years ago used to be a dusty little strip along side Hwy 69 but is now a buzzing small city which is about to join with several other small towns surrounding it to form a small metropolis. The growth is phenomanal. I personally am a small town type person but if you have money and are maybe older and need services this is a great, probably one of the best places to live on earth. The weather is great and very kind to old bones and joints. I have explored all the mountains, deserts and canyons withen a 100 miles radius and still haven't seen it all. I guess I just need a change especially since I live on a VA pension and the cost of living here especially housing has increased. I live in a duplex with 2 bedrooms and am paying $750 a month. The people here are friendly and there has been a big influx of mexican people that are some of the greatest and nicest family oriented people that I have ever seen. On there backs and sweat this town seems to have really taken off. I rate this place a 9 out of 10 to live. This area seems to be the substance abuse recovery center for the country. Prescott Valley is building a huge mental health clinic and they have numerous outlets for help if you are handicapped by addictions or some kind of mental problem. God bless ya and bless us all.
