When you're hot, you're hot

Summer is HOT. Temp generally ranges from 105 to 110 degrees for 2+ of the 4 weeks in both July and August. The other 2 weeks of July and August usually are in the high 90's. June,September and October each have several days over 100 degrees and this year the temperature soared over 100 as early as May. When the temperature gets hot, it stays hot, as Redding is in a valley. Folks say the low humidity makes it bearable, and that you get used to it. I've lived here 25 years and still haven't gotten used to it. It's miserable and it feels like living in an oven.
