Great City

Ripon is one of the few California cities left with that "Mayberry" feel still alive and well. The city has a great little downtown. The people are wonderful, the schools are top-notch, and it is a great place to raise your kids.
Up side: close to the ocean, mountains, Bay Area, Sacramento, shopping in Modesto, and it is a very clean city.
On the down side: traffic on hwy 99 is insane, the quality of air is horrible, allergies are brutal, and the cost of living is crazy.
Overall Ripon is awesome.
