We just returned from a 5 day vacation to the Newport News/Virginia Beach area. Literally as soon as we set foot on the ground, my 14 year old's nose filled up like he had a bad cold! He was so congested and miserable the whole time we were there. When we got back home - he was fine again. We live in North Central Texas where his allergies are due to just seasonal stuff and he's usually on Zyrtec, Singulair and/or Rhinocort. While in Virginia we added Sudafed and it was like he wasn't on anything! I know my response isn't very scientific but we're just glad to be home. It's a beautiful place but we could never consider living there because of this.
