Quality of life

Living here is different than when we were in New England. There is more pressure to excel, and they care more about your job then how long you have been here. Took awhile to acclimate, but I am starting to see some of the strong points (after 17 years!)
Recreation is excellent here. They have an outstanding art museum, lots of lakes and golf courses, and many excellent sports teams to go and root for. Going to a Pistons or Shock game couldn't be easier. Tigers and Red Wings games have plentiful parking. And everything is right off a major highway. If sports are your thing, then this is a good choice.
