Don’t get me wrong, living in the mountains is lovely. However it’s the visitors that ruin it. They leave broken sleds, trash, diapers ect all over the mountain. They don’t follow rules for hiking trails, camping and fires. A normal drive is a little over 20 minutes on a usual day. First snow or holidays can be over 2 1/2 hours. It’s ridiculous. Too many Airbnb’s and vacation rentals with parties. A very high drug ( mostly meth) population that have inherited their parents or grandparents cabin. Town is getting very run down. Honestly can’t wait to move out of the California mountains. Sad
