Review of San Francisco, California

Outer Richmond Neighborhood
Star Rating - 8/7/2008
I've lived in the Lower Haight, the Mission, and the Outer Sunset, always avoiding the foggy Outer Richmond. I ended up here after a series of random events, and I have to say that I truly like this overlooked SF suburb that's right in the middle of the City. Yes, it's foggy, but LESS foggy than the Sunset! The only drawback I've found is that there is no BART out here, and no MUNI rail. There are buses, but I prefer the speed of the street cars. It's a super quiet neighborhood full of mostly homes (vs. apartments). Close to the shore and parks. Geary has pretty much everything you could need. I pay the same as I paid in the other neighborhoods and significantly upgraded my square footage.
