Sandy, Utah, is a beautiful place to raise a family. Originally from Portland, Oregon, I moved here to escape the high cost of living and lack of employment. We have hot, dry summers and at times very cold winters. You see four seasons and aren't stuck in months of rain. Parks are abundant and well taken care of. While Utah is known for it's LDS population, it isn't oppresive as one would think. Many churches of different faiths are available. The Salt Lake region is a unique area. I am glad I moved here.
