Living a vacation

I’ve lived in Seaside for the past 20 years and I love it. I’m a fourth generation Monterey Bay family. Seaside hands down has the best views in the Monterey Bay. It’s a culturally diverse community. Yes it primarily leans to the left (politically) but it’s open and non condescending to others views. I say this with confidence because I speak a little more from the right side.
I read the housing market only rose 7.9%, this isn’t true. In the last 10 years my house has gone up 43% and that’s true for most of the listings I see. I’ve just retired but still keep my eye on the job market. There are a plentiful amount of jobs out there. Unfortunately the the pay scale doesn’t match the housing for most of the population. It requires two decent incomes to afford buying a home in Seaside.
While serving in the military I’ve traveled to all corners of North America as well as many places around the world. The weather here is year round wonderful. Most of the summer is in the 70s and winter in the high 50s to low 60s.
Outdoor activities, you name it we’ve got it. From scuba to flying and everything in between. Night life here is also ( pre-COVID) plentiful. We have outdoor festivals, dining (world class), movies, plays, etc... sorry this is a review not a book. You get the idea, with the right attitude and motivation to go out and do it Seaside is living in a vacation.
